Hand Me the Want Ads
Carol was just asking me a few days ago how the economy is doing around here and I told her it was was bad but hadn't really affected anyone I knew directly-I was wrong! My boss called me yesterday to let me know that our school is being closed May 31st since so many parents are pulling their kids from school as they lose their jobs. So I go back to work Monday for a few more months and I have no idea what is waiting for me next. I had the best job, boss and school for my kids to attend for free and I know I will not find that set up anywhere else so it is pretty depressing. I am one of only four contract employees at our school so I am garanteed a job until the end but as parents find their kids new schools and pull them from our school early other teachers will be forced to leave early. I am hoping for some wonderful situation to come my way but am very doubtful!

OH NO!!!!! I really didn't see that coming, Suria. There could be something very amazing right around the corner...even if it means stay-at-home-mom for a while ;) .........c.

Oh my gosh Suria, I am so sorry! I had a dream last night that CMU let me go and didn't give me any warning. I was freaked out, so I can only imagine what you must be feeling. While I know that I need to be positive, because it's true that something will come along, I am truely mourning with you right now.
I am shocked and sorry for all of you. Your school is so awesone,tell Shrah how badly we feel for her. BUT you will come out fine. All that schoolwork will pay off and you will be right where God wants you to be. He sees the overall picture. Our prayers are with you
