Totally Worth the Watch!

Lila has found her voice and here it is!!!! I love, love, love this little girl and her screaming totally cracks me up!  The kids can give her a little attention and it gets her going too :)

I can barely buckle Lila's straps on her car seat so I have to move her out of the infant carrier already. sigh, no more hauling a sleeping baby around in the carrier! She definitely takes after Charlie in this department. Kadence rode in the carrier rear facing for 18months until the pediatrician finally said to just move her into a bigger seat!

This Week in Nelsonburg

The kids went to an ice skating birthday party and loooooved it! Charlie was begging me for a hockey stick! Needles to say he and Kadence start skating lessons on Saturday. I am so excited to watch them skate while me and Lila sit in the bleachers to watch. I am sooo hoping they take to it. There is really nothing cuter than watching Charlie try to skate! The instructor helped him out alot and after the skate lesson Charlie was not so brave and spent a few minutes clinging to the the wall and then came and hung out with me. Kadence did great too.

Kadence and I have started finding a salad dressing recipe and making 1 new dressing a week. It is super easy and yummy. Here she is holding our favorite one, creamy garlic dressing. It is really fun.

From the Nelson Household today.....

So this here is (finally, and I am knocking on wood right now)our mostly potty trained kid. We are going broke rewarding his #2 in the potty since each one apparently warrants a bath. Yesterday he got to have 4 baths and he always tells me to make sure they are "super hot". For the last 4 days he has been into this and only had 1 accident(at the park and not home near a toilet.) We have come along way from the kid that held in his poop for so long he was hospitalized. Yay, we were wondering it was ever going to happen!!!!!

Also, this little girl turned 4 months old today! She is super happy and easy almost all the time. Someone approached me at the park yesterday to say "Oh man, if I was holding that kid there is no way I could stop myself from biting those legs!" Apparently she doesn't know us well or she would know it is a favorite past time around here and we are like zombies who only munch on fat little human thighs (or hocks as I like to call them. )

Price Tag

Here is Charlie doing a performance for me of the song "Price Tag". (He learned from the Wii Dance game) Notice how he pretends to not notice the innocent baby at his feet and he tries to fall on her. He already knows how to make things "look" like an accident.

So, this pic is what I am going to make Kadence's valentine cards from. After printing them out I will be taping a lollipop to her hand so it looks like she is holding on to it. A pretty clever idea that I am borrowing. Hopefully it turns out as cute as I hope it will.

Every once in a while I end up throwing Lila in the tub with the big kids. Kadence looooooves this! and so does Lila! She is totally chill in the tub and in big sister's arms. I am keeping this pg so you cant see the enormous rolls on those baby thighs.

Bryce snapped this pic of us hanging on the couch today and I love it! It is strange to see how light her hair looks in the picture, it is far more brown in reality.

I took Charlie and Lila to see Santa. After an hour wait, Charlie refused to go near him and then cried because he wanted to go back and see him. Lila was totally cool with SC though.
