Slackers!!!!

So Nelson/Shaw/Priest families, we Nelsons of Florida seemed to have noticed some serious family slacking going on. The most recent blog post from our group is 5 weeks ago! At this time I must command you all to dust off your cameras and get busy with some pictures and blogging. And while I am at that, I am still waiting for some dysfunctional pictures from Christmas, the more humiliating, the better. Please don't let me down.

The zoo

I love this pic cause you can see Bryce and Charlie off in the background watching Kadence ride the camel. She refused to let me ride with her and would not let another child ride with her to help speed the line up. She HAD to do it by herself. She gave me the cutest thumbs up mid-ride!






We made a quick trip to the lowry park zoo last week, here are a few shots from that adventure!

AZ

The kids and I spent Christmas in Arizona. Crazy times were had by all. I can't figure out how to look at my picture files on our new computer so here are a few random pictures. I have lots of good ones that I would like to post eventually. 1/10/11 I just added some pics but still can't figure out how to look at them when I choose them to post. For now I am picking random pictures with no idea of what they are.

A couple older pics I came acrossed tonight. Just had to post them. As much as Charlie loves dinosaurs, he does not like feeling like an appetizer for them.

A New Trick

Tonight as I was tucking Kadence in for the millionth time I heard the pitter patter of Charlie's feet on the wood floor. He had been in bed for 30 minutes so I was shocked that he was awake and could not believe Bryce dared get him out of his crib-that is until I realized Bryce was wondering the same thing about me. Hmmm, neither of us did it. So, we put Charlie back in his crib and asked "how did you get out?, he quickly showed us his unfortunate new trick. Any advise on what to do about bedtime now?

Halloween

Our trick or treat crew was 19 people strong! Here is Kadence with new buddy and neighbor Leah.


Addison was begging for Taylors juice box, and she was the cutest kitty ever.

In case you were wondering, Yes-I am wearing shorts under that. Doesnt Mary Lou look angelic. I was glad another adult dressed up with me!

Kadence pushed Charlie up to many of the houses, it was totally awesome that she wanted to do it!

It was a little difficult for Charlie to maneuver but he looked adorable!

Charlie's Birthday

We celebrated Charlie's birthday a few days early so the grandparents could be there. It was great, Charlie picked out his own cake which was an Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs theme. It was so awesome to watch as we sang to him, it was like all of a sudden it dawned on him that all the fuss was for him and he was amazed!
