Happy Birthday Kiki!

Once I got Carol a birthday cake that said "Your how old?" and Bryce has gotten one from me that said "AARP Here I come!"(The lady at the bakery was sad when I made my request and let me know that she had recently applied for her AARP card.) So to you Crystal, I say Happy Birthday and you should be happy that you live too far away for me to get you a cake!

Jam

Chris and I made lots and lots of strawberry jam this week. I have always wanted to try it and strawberries were $1.25 a pack this week. I haven't tried any yet, but they look so pretty I may never open them! This picture shows round one which was freezer jam, round two was cooked jam.

Kadence won a penguin that was almost as big as her and we had to haul it around Sea World. She also won a large prize playing a game at Islands of Adventure but she traded down to the medium size prize. She is a lucky girl!

As you can see, we had lots of fun with Aunt Kiki , Christian and Evan. We never sat still and I will be recovering for the next month!

Spring Break

Crystal and the boys are here for spring break. We spent a day at Islands of Adventure. Here are the kids with face painting, Christian opted out of it but put a leaf in his mouth and told me he was "leaf boy".

Happy Birthday Willow, we love you! In 18 years you are gonna have the coolest party ever! (Can I come?)

(Taylor, are we now in bigger trouble about your birthday since we have all posted Willows or has my sucking up helped in some way? I couldn't be the only one who didn't give her a post today. Escape Artist

Well it didn't take long and we knew it would happen-Snowflake figured out how to jump over her barrier wall and take over the whole garden room. Luckily I am a slacker so the only things growing in there right now are 2 blueberry bushes, lettuce, some corn and many weeds.
