Chris and I made lots and lots of strawberry jam this week. I have always wanted to try it and strawberries were $1.25 a pack this week. I haven't tried any yet, but they look so pretty I may never open them! This picture shows round one which was freezer jam, round two was cooked jam.

Oh my goodness this was/is the best midnight treat ever. We have already eaten over 1/2 pint on homade bread in the last 2 days. It is a good thiing the rest of this jam is 122 miles north of us.
