Karma
The year was 1998, the day was Sweetest Day which does not exist in Florida for some reason. I planned a romantic evening with Bryce but when my college neighbors whom he barely knew stopped by for a minute to chat they became fast friends and Bryce was soon off to watch the World Series at a local watering hole. He did not realize why I was mad but days later we tried again and I cooked a big spaghetti dinner at his house. When the wine cork got stuck in the neck of the bottle Bryce took the bottle outside to tap the neck of the bottle on the pavement where he imagined it would cleanly break off leaving no trace of glass fragments or cork floating in the wine-he was wrong. Several hours and several stitches later the cold spaghetti sat still waiting to be eaten in cold pans on the stove. That is called Karma. Today since the World Series is being played a few minutes from our house Bryce remembered "hey it must almost be sweetest day", I think he missed the boat on that one again.

On this day 33 years ago I waddled down the basement at 3:00PM to pry burt away from the MSU/MState game and begged him to take me to the hospital in alma. Baby Lynnie arrived at 4:11 and our Dr. missed the delivery because he was in ann arbor at the game. Today they meet again in honor of Carol Lynn. Karma
