There is nothing quite like looking up and your child is holding a dead lizard and smooching it on the mouth. She found the dead lizard in her new room and "caught" it. She held and kissed it and then we put it outside on a tree so it could reunite with it's family. When we went to look for it later it was gone because "it probably ate a bug and feels better" and apparently came back to life. Although this lizard was dead, she has become quite the expert at catching live ones and has been catching them on the playground almost daily. Her teachers are amazed at her mad lizard catching skills.
