Not such a great idea

So Charlie can pretty much sit by himself-on a nice sturdy floor-but not so much in a slippery bathtub. He refused to lay back in his infant tub, instead he forces himself forward and goes facefirst into the water over and over again. I was shopping for a bath seat with no luck and saw the bumbo seat which looked like it could do the job and then some. (I picked it up cheap at a consignment shop) John and Danielle said it was like an awesome little baby jail seat that your child cannot escape so I knew I had to have it! Here is the problem-it floats better than any lifejacket on earth and even my extremely rotund son cannot hold it down (hard to believe, I know). Back to square one. We don't own a scale so Bryce held Charlie on the WII fit the other day and it said something along the lines of "Bryce, I see that you have brought something to the balance board which weighs 18.8 pounds, am I correct?"

Happy Birthday Bryce and Evan!

Evan (my nephew) is 3 today and Bryce is slightly older than three but still looking good! We spent last night in Orlando at an awesome resort and went to Islands of Adventure. Our friends Vin and Rashmi went and took turns watching our kids so we actually rode a lot of rides. We also had express passes so we literally walked onto almost every ride with little or no wait. We ate a yummy dinner last night and Shrek and Fiona just happened to be there. Fiona was playing peekaboo with Kadence (Who had decided to play shy with her) and Kadence had a lot of fun. When we left dinner both kids were already asleep from our adventurous day. Today we swam in the awesome hotel pool until it was time to go. For Bryce's birthday we had a piggy bank custom made by a pottery studio. Bryce has always wanted one that you literally have to smash to get the money out and I have been looking for years so this was our solution. Bryce and Kadence are going to the studio to paint it together. Thanks for being born Bryce-we enjoyed celebrating your birthday this weekend!

A Tooth!

Charlie's first tooth came through today! Bryce felt it when Charlie was trying to chomp his finger earlier today. He will be eating BBQ ribs any day now!

Goodbye Cuckoo

Kadence's beloved fish, Cuckoo the 9th passed away yesterday after we had him for almost 2 years. Kadence was very sad yesterday and kept saying she missed him but by last night her mourning period was over and she moved on. We went to PetSmart and she picked a new fish. He is a purple Betta and he is named "Kook the Kook"-apparently Big Taylor provided her with this name.
