Feeding the Pelicans

We went out with the infamous James Stambaugh the other evening, to the pier in St. Pete. We enjoyed some dinner with a view and the kids got to feed the pelicans. They were super excited! Charlie would not leave them alone after the feeding and eventually ticked one off until it pecked his toes. He made the saddest face after that, he just couldn't believe it dared to hurt his toes. Then the girl at the bait shop let them hold fiddler crabs and shrimp and gave them a mini biology lesson. They loved it.

Preparing

So, the Florida Nelsons are on a mission this week. We have basically chosen the family reunion t-shirt and found a local screener to do the work, and we are finalizing the family "roast". What will the shirts look like? What will they say? You will find out in July when we give them to you!!!!!!! For the record I am ordering 2, one to wear over my super fat belly this summer and one to wear over my washboard stomach after the bundle is born. We have to begin working on the roast now so that Charlie can perform.

Spring Break

So we had spring break off and we winged our week instead of making plans. It turned out to be totally awesome except for the rainy weather we had for a couple days.
The Roger's invited us to their awesome Orlando timeshare so we all went to Sea World and hung out for a night. This is Bryce watching the torrential downpours while we wait for a small break so we can drive home safely.
Chillin at Sea World.
Kadence and Addison
Bryce and all the kids rode some rides together at sea world.
Charlie and Kadence looooved the splash park at the Tampa Aquarium!
Enjoying the view.

Kadence trying to pet the shy stingrays with Grandma and Grandpa looking on.

Oh, and we bought a totally awesome mini-van this week. We are officially old dorks and proud of it.

Lil Minion

So here is the news to those who don't know, we are expecting an awesome little baby of some sort 11/16/11. I was hoping to see some sort of family resemblance but for now it resembles a small unroasted peanut.

Random Pics

Here is a picture of Charlie cramming all of his favorite trains in between the screen and chicken wire of the bunny cage. If you look carefully you can see that he first crammed a soccer ball down in between them to create an opening. He then called Aunt CC to come retrieve his trapped trains.
Here Is a totally awesome pic of Aunt CC with the kids at the alligator park. We saw tons of alligators that day and 2 snakes!
After a kayak trip the kids were terrorizing Aunt CC in the park near our house.

I know it is a little late but I am not sure if anyone has seen this picture. It is from our Christmas portrait session. That is actually my hand wearing the Santa glove! I think it is our favorite picture of Kadence ever!

Our little gymnast

After gymnastics today, Kadence said "Watch this Mom"-I had no idea she was going to do this awesome move! She had a substitute teacher that was amazed at her skills!

The Jumpy House

Recently, Charlie has gotten brave enough to have fun at the jumpy house. It is soo fun to watch the kids go nuts there and have fun.
