Surgery-Over!

Charlie got his ear tube surgery this morning. Everything went well and we were lucky enough to have nurses that were my buddies when I used to work at the hospital. He had a little grumpy period after the surgery but was soon running down the hospital hallways like a little monster so we knew he was back in action. Now we are hoping for no more ear infections-ever! The downside of this is that with the tubes, his balance should significantly improve, therefore he will be scaling tables, chairs and dressers in a fraction of the time!

Snowflake's new crib

Here is Snowflake's new cage. After no success looking on Craigslist, I finally posted on Craigslist that I was in need of a bunny cage and a few hours later I was picking up this super sweet bunny cage that was much cooler and cheaper than anything we have seen. It is a 2 bedroom bunny condo and the wooden door on the right opens forward and creates a walking ramp so she can go back in on her own. Snowflake has also discovered a way to climb into Bryce's recliner and spent several hours in it today. I am sure the inside of that chair is craptastic now.
Taylor-we have a completely valid excuse
So I know Taylor is wondering why we failed to post a blog entry honoring her birthday and I wanted her to know why we were so busy that day.
It began around 7:00am. First we heard Meryl Streep was being interview on the Today show so we watched it for 4 hours trying to catch a glimpse of her. (It turned out to be faulty information and she was not on)
We then went shopping at Kohls where we each bought a pair of high heeled shoes.(Do you have any idea how hard it is to find high heels for a toddler size 7 foot?)
Then we walked the Gandy Bridge in our new heels. When we got done walking we were starving so we went out for ice cream-chocolate in a bowl of course.
We then went out to pick up the birthday cake that we ordered for our "Taylor party" and devoured that. Our rendition of "Happy Birthday Taylor" was amazing-really, you should have heard it. Kadence got voted Honorary Taylor and got to blow out all 14 candles.
When we got home we had to watch "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Julie and Julia" while drinking Perrier and quickly realized it was 12:01am Feb 17th at that point and our post would be pointless.
So, Taylor I know it is a little late but HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Toddler Tantrum
Here is a clip of Charlie begging Bryce to give him a bath. Charlie is doing the sign language movement for bath -one of many that he uses. He loves bathtime and always gets one a day but that doesn't stop him from trying to beg for many more.
On an unrelated note-has anyone heard from those lefthanded righties? We keep waiting to hear that they made it back from Switzerland but have now devoted our time to watching episodes of Locked up Abroad to see if any are based on their lives. We miss you guys and need pics and updates!
