Character breakfast with lots of characters-Charlie wasn't too sure of this!

Grandpa Burt with his fave character from the Fairly Oddparents!

Kadence teasing Grandpa with her lollipop that was as big as her head!(looks a little puny from the side view!)

Our trip was quick-just an overnight but we packed in lots of activities and had lots of fun.

Be Warned!!

We have purchased Jenga and are currently honing our skills for the family reunion. John, we expect you to eat a second helping of pike eyeball. Kadence plans on catching this years prize winning/losing pike!

Pictures

As you can see-anything can happen when Bryce is taking pictures! He took pictures yesterday of every kid at Kadence's school to frame and sell at her school's upcoming Spring Fling. I think they turned out great! This is Kadence's photo. We never imagined that some kids would look at us like we were nuts and refuse to sit in the chair for pictures. Also, a few kids just started bawling when he took their picture. It was pretty entertaining to watch!
As for these other pictures-they pretty much speak for themselves!

This week

We had a fun visit with the Big Nelsons, hanging out watching movies, playing with the kids, visiting the alligator park (couldn't find any alligators!)and going downtown for dinner at the pier. (It was too cold to sit outside) Chris even helped me go to some local businesses in search of donations for Kadence's school carnival in March. We had a little success and I couldn't/wouldn't have done it without her-Thanks! (Thanks to Blue River Mill for your awesome wood block set donation!) Next on the Florida Nelson agenda-a trip to Disney in a couple of weeks!(fingers crossed!) It should be lots of fun.

Random Pictures

When Kadence plays chef she serves up really fresh food. The poor hamster tolerates alot around here.

The other day I left MaryLou in charge of the kids for 10minutes while I showered and she turned my little Bruiser into a Princess!

History repeats itself...

When I was a child my sister and I were at our neighbor's house playing tag. There was a bike in the driveway that you could touch for 10 seconds to be "free" from being tagged. When I was "it" Crystal stood holding the bike so I began counting to 10. When I reached 10 she punched me in the mouth and knocked out one of my teeth! I ran home with my tooth in hand thinking "She is sooooo busted! Wait until Mom finds out about this!" Much to my dismay, my Mom was so excited about the tooth fairy coming, Crystal skated out of any trouble.

In Arizona over the holidays, my nephew Christian had 2 loose teeth. One caught on his shirt when he was getting dressed and went flying out and we couldn't find it so my mom ran her Roomba vacuum and emptied out the dirt bin to find it there. The next day Charlie was playing a game with Christian where he would try to stick his finger in Christian's mouth and then crack up when he succeeded. Suddenly Christian ran off crying with a tooth in his hand. He told everyone that Charlie "Smacked the tooth right out of his mouth". I think it is hilarious that he has a great tooth story like I do.
