Sorry about the blog slacking but the kids and I have been in AZ and CA vacationing with my family. It has been really busy and really fun, we are heading home in 2 days. Bryce won't even recognize Charlie when we get home because he has another tooth, he claps, he does a baby zombie growl, he pulls up on furniture and cruises and I think he is currently applying to Mensa. Kadence has been having a blast with her cousins. She is definately the ringleader and talks them into situations that get them all in trouble (ie-"Evan go tell Grandma that you don't like her"-haha, or "Hey guys when Grandpa walk through the door lets beat him up") It is fun to overhear those conversations. We have had several beach days in CA, we went to the San Diego Zoo, Legoland and an awesome pool at our resort. I promise lots of cool stories and pics when we get back!

Bryce passed Play it Again Sports on his way home (it's about 1 mile or less away from our house) and there is an amazingly familiar looking elliptical machine displayed on their front sidewalk. We are guessing it could be the one that was taken from us and could have been immediately dropped off at play it again for some cash. We are investigating, pink panther style.

I am in big trouble!

Tomorrow the kids and I are off to AZ on a 4 1/2 hour flight. Yesterday after his afternoon nap Charlie got fussy and hasn't stopped since. I just took him to the doctor and he has a pretty nasty ear infection. Apparently air travel may make it feel worse so they have given me some sort of numbing drops to put in his ear before the flight. To make matters worse, one of his upper teeth coincidentally broke through yesterday and he is definately not the happiest baby I know when his teeth are coming in! Wish me luck!

Alligator Park

Today we braved the heat and had a picnic lunch at the park. Kadence fed the squirrels and as we went for our walk around the park an alligator walked across the sidewalk in front of us. We normally have our camera with us but wouldn't you know it we both forgot ours. I started walking towards it with my phone in camera mode but didn't get a clear shot-Kadence was panicking the whole time. The gator wasn't that big-I think I could have taken him. While we were out, a guy who we just purchased an exercise machine from called us to say he was almost to our house to drop it off. Since we weren't home we asked him to just leave it at the back of our house, 30 minutes later when we got home it was gone! I hope the thief is getting in some cardio because if we find him he better run!

Preparing for battle!

Be afraid Priest family-we are practicing our talent for the upcoming family reunion talent show. The John Nelson crew has not threatened us in any way about their preparations so we will spend our times worrying about you and hoping their is another family fight at one of your rehearsals! I called Kevin the other night in hopes that he could fix us up with a wood plaque or trophy made by Blue River Mill and am hoping that John and Danielle could use their wood burner(if they still have it) to engrave names onto the plaque each year so we have a long family record of these talent shows. (For everyone who does not know we have planned a talent show for our family reunion in Mackinaw and the Nelsons have no intention of losing!)
