Kadence and Charlie

It's funny how Kadence and Charlie make the same faces as each other! Bryce thought the pictures were both of Charlie!(At different ages of course! He is super fat now so it can be a little confusing!)Anyways, Charlie is the bottom pic and Kadence is the middle one. Even though Kadence and Bear have not hung out too much she makes the same shy face that he does-we call it the Bear face! Those darn Nelson genes are powerful! In a bid to show that Charlie looks like me the top picture is a pic of me as a baby that I snagged while at my parents house last week. I think it looks like him in the pictures of his baptism.

On a completely unrelated note-Bryce and Kadence have a beta fish named Cuckoo and his water is so dirty Cuckoo could walk on it if he grew legs. Anyways, the water smells like Muskegon air does on certain days.....wierd.(By the way, they are responsible for all aspects of Cuckoo's life including cleaning his fish poo infested water so that is why it is so nasty right now)

Moms Rule!

I don't know how people manage to do it and I am certainly learning but having 2 kids instead of 1 is really hard! I am constantly busy and nothing ever gets done! I was blessed with a 7 hour block of sleep last night (the night before I was up every two hours) and today have become Superwoman and done a million things but there are still a million more to do. Housework, Christmas tree clean up, groceries. I just finished my Montessori certification class last week while on vacation and am wrapping things up in my other class this week with a huge project that I am taking a short break from right now. Sometimes it's all I can do to get a shower! How Danielle managed to paint homemade ornaments for Christmas with 3 kids is beyond me! I am going back to work in a week and a half-Yikes! One day when my house is empty I will wish I had this problem! Heres to all you hard working moms!

Charlie's Baptism

Charlie was baptized at my parents church today. He was sleeping peacefully moments before being stripped naked and dunked completely under water. After the dunk tank, he screamed one of those screams that is so hard that no noise comes out for a long time and then it morphs into the loudest baby scream you have ever heard. After calming down and snapping some pictures we had lunch with friends at my parents house and he slept the day away. If he does not become an olympic diver it is because of today.

Contract Renewal

Happy New Year everyone! Bryce's should be extra special since a somewhat annebriated best friend of his sent him a text offering to renew his "contract of friendship" for one more year. I hope everyone else is as lucky as he will be this year.
